I am all for people doing what they want, and am far from homophobic…but really?
Parents with kids this young who claim they are gay are fucking retarded.
Your kid isnt gay. He thinks girls are gross because they have cooties, but like every other boy his age. I mean, he might be mature for his age, but I can PROMISE he is not old enough to suggest that he like to have sex with other guys. Because that is all that gay is. It is sex oriented.

Wow, I didn’t like girls and loved boys at 7 too! I also became a dragon at recess that scared all the girls too. But then at age 14, things got a little crazy

I think it’s a little extreme to say that “Parents with kids this young who claim they are gay are fucking retarded.” Is it possible that he’s just latching to the media’s depiction of gays being the coolest things ever and he wants to be the coolest thing ever too? Sure. But is it also possible that he has some sort of idea of who he is at that young of an age? Yeah, I think so. I mean, come on. So many different situations can happen. Some boys act like the stereotypically straightest things ever as kids and end up being gay. Some kids, like me, had crushes on tons of girls until they hit puberty and end up being gay. And y’know, they could be like both those things as kids and end up being straight, too. I hope i’m making sense, here.

and now my mom still owes my brother $50
and i had a crush on the cutest guy in 1st grade and he still goes to school with me

I’m fairly certain I understood that I was gay when I was in the 3rd grade.
Did I admit to it? No. But I knew deep down. Chances are this kid knows but he doesn’t give a fuck what people say. I have yet to achieve such a thing, so kudos to him.
